Year of Establishment :  2012

History of the department : University Grant Commission (UGC) approved the center on December, 2011 with funding support of Rs. 6.15 crore for five years with the visionary of fulfillment of the UGC curriculum of CPEPA including inter- and multi-disciplinary networking/collaborative approach of new and innovative academic/research/activities extension program of Regional/National/International interest/importance relevant to the social/economic/other needs of the Nation in general and the Region in particular. The center includes Principal Investigators (PI) from the Departments of Psychology, Physiology and Applied Mathematics. The center with the infrastructure facilities is situated in Rashbehari Siksha Prangan (commonly known as Rajabazar Science College campus) of the University of Calcutta.
